Genealogists are by definition renaissance men. In the course of researching they become familiar with many different disciplines from different time periods.
I am a genealogist, traveler and an artist. Sometimes these different sides collide. At other times they stand alone. This blog is a place for me to publish my research and to display my art.
In 2007 I spent four months researching in England, Scotland, Germany, Poland and Austria. After returning to the States I traveled full-time in a motor home continuing to research on location in the States.
I have previously published articles in Minnesota Genealogist and Kentucky Ancestors, where I received the Anne Walker Fitzgerald Award in 2011.
